Pre-Easter and Pre-Testing

Guess what we will do today? Yes, we will be dyeing eggs. The kids are so excited!

But before we start that dyeing we will count and sort jelly beans.

Everyone had their own way of organizing the jelly beans.

 Alfred really likes straight lines.
 Ethan likes groups.
We also graphed the jelly beans to better see which colors we had the most and the least of.
Then the dyeing began! Not too much of a mess. It was fun and they loved mixing the colors.

 Every egg was unique.

And everyone was proud and happy that each one was different.
Then the Easter Bunny came to say hello. Some of the kids did not want to get too near the bunny.

Now we start preparing for testing. We practice how to concentrate for a long time and we put our blinders up to help with the concentration. We can't get up and we have to be very quiet if you finish the test early. We always try our best! Of course we check the practice test together as a class and discuss what the best answer is and how to bubble in.
