We made our Earth Day buddies and learned about recycling, reusing and reducing. We read Michael Recycle and learned a new song.

Part of being an author of a book is reading many stories. As we prepare to write our Mother's Day books we practice thinking about all the wonderful things that our moms do for us.
Our mommie's will love their books that the kids made.
Can we go outside already?
Friday is for reading one-on-one. Each student picks a book and I get to read the story to them personally. Sometimes they like a story to be read to them more than one Friday. It's not about teaching them to read, but making them lifelong readers.
